Crowns
A crown, which is sometimes referred to as a cap, is an artificial cover that is placed over a tooth with dental cement. There is a variety of materials that crowns can be made out of:
- Porcelain bonded to metal. These are strong crowns which have a core of metal covered by tooth coloured porcelain.
- All ceramic crowns. These crowns are metal free and have superb aesthetics.
- Metal crowns. These are strong crowns which are usually silver or gold in colour.
Veneers
Veneers are thin layers of porcelain or composite which are placed on the facings of the teeth to improve their appearance
White fillings
White fillings usually fall into 2 types which are composite and glass ionomer cements. They both are very useful materials and are indicated in different situations. They are much more aesthetic than the metal fillings

Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is a process whereby the nerve chamber of the tooth is cleaned out and sealed with medication. It is usually indicated when the nerve of the tooth is compromised (usually from tooth decay or fractured tooth), or an infection has setup within the tooth.
Bridges
A dental is bridge is a dental restoration used to replace missing teeth. Typically a bridge utilises the teeth adjacent to support “a false” tooth. However with advancements in technology a bridge can also supported by using dental implants adjacent to a gap.
Dentures
Dentures are removable plates used to replace missing teeth. Dentures can sit on your gums and existing teeth or alternatively sit on dental implants.
